**Cashier – Betting Store**
**Location:**Lusaka
**Job Summary: **We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Cashier in our bustling betting store. The ideal candidate should have a strong command of English and mathematics, ensuring accurate financial transactions and an excellent customer experience. Previous experience in customer support and financial handling is an added advantage.
**Responsibilities:**
1. **Customer Service: **Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner.
Provide information on betting options and promotions.
Resolve customer inquiries and concerns with efficiency.
1. **Financial Transactions: **Process cash, credit, and electronic payments accurately.
Maintain a balanced cash drawer and reconcile transactions at the end of each shift.
Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and company policies.
1. **Mathematical Accuracy: **Perform quick and accurate calculations for bets and payouts.
Verify odds and betting slips for correctness.
1. **Record Keeping: **Maintain detailed records of transactions and customer interactions.
Generate reports as required by management.
1. **Security and Compliance: **Adhere to security protocols for cash handling and transactions.
Stay informed about betting regulations and ensure compliance.
**Qualifications:**
* High school diploma or equivalent.
* Strong command of English and mathematics.
* Previous experience in customer support and finance handling is an added advantage.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
* Attention to detail and accuracy in financial transactions.
