Are you a meticulous finance professional with a knack for streamlining operations and ensuring compliance? We’re seeking a dynamic Finance and Administration Officer to join our team. Responsibilities:

  • Financial Oversight: Manage day-to-day financial operations, including payments, petty cash, and bank transfers.
  • Banking Collaboration: Act as a pivotal liaison with banking partners, optimising processes and reducing transaction costs.
  • Compliance Assurance: Maintain accurate financial records and ensure adherence to accounting standards and organisational policies.
  • Statutory Support: Assist in meeting statutory requirements, such as VAT exemption and PAYE remittance.
  • Staff Coordination: Serve as a bridge between staff and medical scheme underwriters, ensuring seamless interactions.
  • Cash Flow Management: Forecast cash flow, manage liquidity, and facilitate timely payments.
  • Supplier Relations: Handle supplier payments, validate invoices, and reconcile vendor accounts for smooth operations.
  • Administrative Efficiency: Support administrative tasks and assist in procurement planning for enhanced efficiency.
  • Asset Management: Ensure optimal utilisation of office stocks and secure insurance for registered assets.
  • Event Coordination: Assist in organising meetings, workshops, and events, contributing to seamless execution.
  • Documentation Management: Maintain a comprehensive filing system for administrative and financial documents.
  • Collaborative Innovation: Work closely with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and drive overall efficiency.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Professional qualification in accounting.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in finance and accounting.
  • Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
