Job Summary

To coordinate the delivery of marketing and communication services that deliver desired business outcomes through the execution of marketing and communication Go to Market strategies as per agreed standard operating procedures (SOPs).

Job Description

Business Partner

• Support the delivery of Short-Term Plans (STP) of the various Business Units through Go To market Plans (GTM) and customer engagement initiatives that drive product awareness and uptake.
• Establish and maintain effective relationships with internal stakeholders to ensure business requests are being attended to efficiently and effectively.

Brand Equity & Reputational risk

• Execute 360 integrated marketing and communication campaigns that deliver the desired consumer perception, improve consideration, drive business outcomes, and ultimately improve brand equity.
• Track all reputational risks and mitigations – Conduct media reviews and share alerts keeping abreast of salient articles and stories

External Communication

• Establish and maintain effective relationships with the Media fraternity as Absa Banks media liaison in order to address press queries and ensure engagement and partnership through press events, press releases and related PR tools.
• Provide Executive and CMC support for speaking engagements through the drafting of speeches, speaking notes and briefs that are aligned to the Banks positioning and effectively communicate the Banks position, products, services, and activities.

Media Management

• Coordinate media agency relations to ensure campaign media strategies and media plans are developed and rolled out as agreed.
• Deliver creative and impactful social media and website content while managing community engagement in line with brand, governance, and reporting guidelines.

Internal Communication

• Support the execution of the Internal Engagement strategy through the development and dissemination of internal communication through agreed channels (Emailers, WhatsApp, Workplace).
