MARKETING AND OPERATIONS OFFICER

Job Description

  • Coordinate planning and implementation of marketing and sales activities.
  • Provide support to depot managers and regional managers in the management of depots and provinces respectively.
  • Ensure depots have all necessary stationery and tools for proper execution of responsibilities.
  • Ensuring that all commercial systems and procedures are followed and executed according to standard operational procedures (SOP).
  • Making sure depots reports are prepared and submitted on time to the head office.
  • Ensure stock takes and stock reconciliation at depots are conducted regularly by regional managers in all provinces.
  • Assisting Management, training of the department and business development
  • Providing guidance and direction for successful management of depots in the provinces
  • Identification of bottlenecks for the successful implementation of FISP programs and propose solutions and recommendations to the challenges.
  • Protecting the interest of the company and managing company resources prudently.
  • Data analysis, reporting and sales planning coordination.
  • Implement and monitor performance activities for sales and operations team to drive accountability and achieve business objectives.
  • Responsible for providing data and systems development support to the commercial department and the other departments when needed, leading, planning and coordination for sales teams, setting sales goals, commercial performance.
  • Enforcing implementation of procedures, guidelines and sales volumes
  • Performing sales analysis with focus on long term company growth
  • Implementation of designed commercial strategies for the company sales practices.
  • Identifying and pursuing new business operations
  • Assist in ensuring the smooth operations of business activities focusing on optimizing efficiency and drawing revenue growth.
  • Coordinating commercial operation including sales processes, marketing strategies and customer service activities
  • Coordinate, manage and optimize supply chain operations to ensure efficiency productivity distributions and delivery of fertilizer.
  • Assist to Develop and enforce policies and procedures to ensure compliance with company policies and standards.
  • Coordination of implementation of the market plan according to the company strategic plan pillars.

 

Requirements

  • 5+ years of work experience in similar role
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, crop science, marketing and knowledge of finance and logistics will be added advantage.
  • Expert computer skills with CRM experience preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Team first attitude with high level of dedication
  • Ability to multitask and manage.
  • Able to work accurately under stress and pressure to meet competing deadlines.
