EXTERNAL JOB ADVERTISEMENT –
The Judiciary is an arm of Government of the Republic of Zambia. Its mission is “to provide effective and efficient administration of justice accessible to all people in Zambia through impartial and timely adjudication without fear or favour”.
In order to improve service delivery, the Judiciary intends to fill the following vacant positions as indicated below. Applications are therefore invited from suitable candidates to fill the following positions;
4. REGISTRY CLERK X 1 POSITION (SALARY SCALE JSS 04) AT
CHOMA SUBORDINATE COURT
The successful candidate will fill the positions at, Choma Subordinate Court, and will report to the Senior Clerk of Court and will be responsible for the following duties.
• Circulates files to and from actioning officers in order to facilitate
flow of information and decision making
• Maintains accurately registers in order to avoid losses and misdirection of mail
• Undertakes accurately inventory of files in order to facilitate information storage and retrieval
• Undertakes timely the transfer of semi-active and inactive records
to records centres in order to preserve and create space in the registry
• Undertake the appropriate storage of records in order to prevent unauthorized access and destruction
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
• Full Form V or Grade Twelve (12) School Certificate with Five (5)
‘O’ levels with credits including English
Related professional skills is an added advantage
• Able to communicate effectively in English
• Must be between 18 and 35 years old for external applicants, and not above 50 years for internal applicants.
