Role
You will be responsible for deliveries and managing stock levels. Your primary duties include receiving and dispatching goods from the stores, storing goods received appropriately and resolving discrepancies in the delivery of goods.
Duties and Responsibilities
Receiving all deliveries and checking the goods received
Liaising with suppliers about deliveries and discrepancies in stock
Keeping detailed records of shortages and spares of items
Updating inventory management systems regularly
Organising and delivering goods from the store to the department that requires it
Store Person skills and qualifications
Full Grade 12 Certificate with at least 5 O Levels including English and Mathematics
Basic IT skills and a working knowledge of inventory management systems and word processing software
Excellent organisational skills
Ability to work methodically and quickly
Excellent time management skills and exceptional work ethic
Ability to stand on their feet for long hours
Ability to lift heavy items
Teamwork skills and ability to work independently
