KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
❖ Develop a comprehensive sales plan with focus to identify prospective customers.
❖ Ensure 100% achievement of the set sales target.
❖ Solicit for forward purchase agreements and contracts for bulk mining chemicals.
❖ Coordinate with various bulk mining chemicals manufacturers/suppliers for cost effective and efficient products for possible substitutes for existing products.
❖ Advise/recommend to procurement/Logistics on sources for new product lines.
❖ Ensure minimum GP and mark up as per business plan.
❖ Ensure collections of debtors is achieved as per business plan
❖ Perform market survey on prices, competitor activities and Industrial performance as and when required.
❖ Conduct at least six (6) metallurgical test works per quarter on existing and new bulk chemicals.
❖ Attend to customer complaints to their satisfaction and ensure they do not escalate.
❖ Ensure all system procedures in customer relations management system-Zoho are updated. i.e. emails, calls etc.
❖ Conduct metallurgical test works on various bulk mining chemical products by arranging with existing and new clients as and when required.
❖ Proving after sales technical support services to existing and new clients
❖ Ensure ISO practice is part of your daily activities and raise all identified non-conformities and direct them to section head for addressing.
REQUIREMENTS:
❖ Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering or related field. Sales and Marketing qualification will be an added advantage.
❖ Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience in a similar position within relevant industry required.
❖ Strong market knowledge of the most consumed chemicals by mines in northwestern province of Zambia.
❖ Proficient in written and spoken English.
