Trade Development Representative (TDR)
FULL TIME in Lusaka, Eastern, Western and Southern Province

JOB DESCRIPTION
The TDR will plan, co-ordinate and implement the recruitment of agents merchants, support
Agents/merchants, training and performance monitoring of agents/ merchants in a specific
territory. Additionally, manage the performance of assigned sales.

Responsibilities
• Drive our partner’s agent’s/ merchants recruitment, transaction and performance in a specific market, in order to achieve the required growth in transaction volumes.
• Execute Trade Development activities within the assigned territory for our partners.
• Drive and manage Active agents/merchants in the territory to 90%.
• Hold Agents Assistant Forums in liaison with the technical Experts from our partners.
• Deploy merchandise (fliers, posters, fliers, logbooks etc.) within the required SLAS.
•Carry out trade visitations (calls) to check on availability of Electronic Value and other business requirements:
• Handle first level of customer service to agents/merchants and handle customer complaints
arising.
• Provide feedback (Reporting) on market activities to the Region’s field manager – Competition,
Non-Compliance to KYC/ AML standards.
• Building and maintaining effective business relationships within the Agents/ merchants network
for our partners.

Qualifications
• Diploma in sales and marketing/Business Administration/Business Management or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience (sales & marketing of products & services) and field force management. – Telecoms or Banking industry desirable.
• Should be result oriented, motivated, resourceful and able to work independently.
• Good Communication and People Management skills.
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office and Excel.
