REGIONAL SALES MANAGER – MPONGWE FEEDMILL (01)

The Required Skills for this Role Include:

  • Preparing sales departmental budget annually taking into account the previous year’s performance, orders received / outstanding, market projections, and trends, and submitting the same to superior for approval.
  • Planning, coordinating, and managing the execution of the satisfied sales and marketing policies, procedures, and promotion programs through visits to customers (self/subordinates) within the country, arranging for the participation in the National Agricultural shows, Trade Fairs and other similar shows held within the country as approved by the National Sales Manager.
  • Designing suitable advertisements through brochures, magazines, press, and billboards to enhance awareness of company products.
  • Notifying customers of any new developments in terms of availability of products, prices, trends, and dispatches for maintenance of good customer-novated relations.
  • Advising and liaising with other Heads of Departments and other parties on matters related to orders, debt collection and defaulting customers to ensure smooth operations.
  • Preparing and submitting weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales reports highlighting achievements and bottlenecks to superior incorporating own recommendations, as the basis for management decision-making on future plans.
  • Regularly checking the Novatek Information Management System (NIMS) for compliance, updates, and implementing new documents for all procedures, standing instructions, and forms for the sales department.

The Required Qualifications are:

  • Grade 12 Certificate
  • Diploma in Sales and Marketing
  • At least 5 years of experience
  • Must be a member of the Zambia Institute of Marketing
