The Zambia Compulsory Standards Agency (ZCSA) is a body corporate created by the Compulsory Standards Act Chapter 422 of the Laws of Zambia whose mandate is to inter alia administer, maintain, and ensure compliance with Compulsory Standards.
The Agency wishes to invite suitably qualified and experienced individuals to fill the vacant positions of Domestic Quality Monitoring Inspector x 6 and Accounts Assistant.
1. DOMESTIC QUALITY MONITORING INSPECTOR-X6 (ZCS05)
A. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Undertakes effective inspection of domestic products and services in order to ensure compliance with compulsory standards.
Undertakes timely the issuance of licences in order to facilitate trade of products and services covered under compulsory standards.
Undertakes periodically the updating of the regional domestic inspections database in order to facilitate storage, retrieval and processing of information.
Undertakes timely the conduct of investigations on consumer complaints for domestic products and services in order to address the risks and provide remedial measures.
A. QUALIFICATIONS
Full Grade 12 Certificate.
Bachelor’s Degree in Food/Agro/Engineering/Chemical Science Member of a relevant Professional Body
Minimum relevant pre-job experience 2 years
Able to write technical and analytical reports > Able to communicate effectively in English
