INTERNAL AUDITOR-INTERNAL AUDIT DEPARTMENT
Reporting to: Manager – Internal Audit
JOB PURPOSE
To support the Internal Audit function by conducting both financial/operational audits and information systems audits in order to provide independent assurance on the effectiveness of governance, risk management, internal controls, compliance, and information systems within the Corporation. The role is responsible for evaluating financial, operational, and IT controls to ensure compliance, safeguard assets, strengthen cybersecurity, and improve operational efficiency across the organization.

2. IT & Systems Audits
3. Systems & Process Improvement Reporting & Stakeholder Engagement
Risk Management & Compliance
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
Minimum Qualifications
Grade 12 Certificate with five (5) ‘O’ Levels including Mathematics and English. Bachelor’s Degree in:
Accountancy, Finance, Auditing, Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Risk Management, or related field.
Professional Qualifications / Certifications
Applicants must possess at least one relevant professional qualification or certification such as:
ZICA/ACCA/CIMA
CIA/CISA/CISSP
COBIT
ISO/IEC 27001
or other relevant audit and IT governance certifications.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Minimum five (5) years relevant experience in:
Internal Audit,
IT Audit,
Systems Audit,
or Risk Management.
APPLICATION DETAILS:
Experience in the insurance or financial services sector will be an added advantage.
Experience in audit software, ERP systems, and data analytics tools is desirable.
