EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY
Pitoh Lodge is seeking a hands-on, guest-focused LODGE MANAGER to oversee daily operations and deliver excellent guest experiences
VACANCY: LODGE MANAGER

LOCATION: Pitoh Lodge Limited – Mongu, North East, Off Old Shoprite Road

RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:
1. Oversee front office, housekeeping, kitchen, bar & maintenance teams

2. Manage bookings, guest check-in/out, complaints & customer service 3. Control stock, suppliers, budgeting & monthly reports
4. Ensure high standards of cleanliness, safety & service
5. Staff scheduling, training & performance management
6. Liaise with ZRA, PACRA, council, tourism board & suppliers

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:
1. Diploma/Degree in Hospitality Management, Tourism, or Business Admin
2. At Least 3 years experience managing a lodge, hotel, guesthouse, or safari camp
3. Strong leadership, communication & problem-solving skills
4. Good computer skills: MS Office, Excel, booking systems
5. Knowledge of Zambia tourism regulations, licensing & health standards
6. Honest, disciplined, and able to live on-site in remote area
7. Zambian national with valid NRC and Police clearance
8. Valid driver’s license – advantage for guest transfers/supplies

Added Advantage:
1. First Aid & Fire Safety certificate
2. Willing to work shifts, weekends & public holidays
