We’re hiring: Operations Manager
Langmead & Baker is looking for a senior Operations Manager to join our public relations consultancy in Kabulonga, Lusaka.
This is a key leadership role, working directly with the Managing Director and acting as the in-office operational lead for the business.
We are looking for someone who can bring structure, accountability and momentum to a growing PR consultancy – while also bringing strong media relations experience and sound commercial judgement.
The right person will be responsible for:
• Overseeing day-to-day operations and team performance
• Implementing effective systems, workflows and SOPs
• Ensuring high-quality client delivery, on time and to standard
• Setting KPIs and improving productivity
• Managing performance and addressing underperformance
• Leading media relations strategy and helping secure quality coverage
• Supporting new business opportunities, pitches and client acquisition
We are particularly interested in candidates with experience in PR, communications, media, corporate affairs or agency environments.
You should be structured, decisive, commercially aware and comfortable holding people to account – while also being able to motivate a team and maintain high standards.
Location: Kabulonga, Lusaka
Role: Full-time
