System Administrator

Job Summary
The IT Systems Administrator will be responsible for maintaining, securing, and optimizing the organization’s IT infrastructure. The role includes providing technical support to staff, resolving system issues, and ensuring smooth and reliable IT operations.

Key Responsibilities
System Administration: Manage servers, networks, and cloud- based systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability. Technical Support: Provide first Tier 1-3 ticket resolution, escalating complex issues
Security Management: Implement and monitor cybersecurity measures, backups, and disaster recovery plans to protect organizational assets.
User Training: Assist employees with IT tools and promote best practices throughout the organization.
System Upgrades: Plan and execute updates, patches, and improvements to IT infrastructure, ensuring systems remain current and secure.
Asset Management: Updating the asset inventory and management system for addition, modification or disposal of assets.
Any other duties as assigned.

Minimum qualifications and experience
Certificate in GCSE Twelve (12) or equivalent.
> Bachelor’s degree in IT Computer Science or a related field Minimum of 2-3 years in System administration or technical support.

Technical Skills
Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of Windows/Linux servers, networking, cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS), and cybersecurity best practices.
> Excellent communication, problem-solving, and teamwork abilities.
