Tyre Fitter Job Overview
We are inviting applications for three full-time tyre fitter positions based in Kitwe, Copperbelt, Zambia. Successful candidates will join a busy transport workshop environment where precision and safety are paramount.
Key Responsibilities for Tyre Fitter Jobs in Kitwe
- Replace worn or damaged tyres following company procedures.
- Balance wheels and perform tyre fitting, including hub fitting on trailers.
- Conduct wheel alignments on various vehicles.
- Mount tyres according to vehicle specifications.
- Re-torque wheels and accurately record tyre change positions.
- Perform daily tyre inspections and remove defective tyres for scanning.
- Assist in tyre branding activities as required.
Qualifications and Experience Required
- Craft Certificate in Tyre Maintenance or equivalent qualification.
- Minimum of Grade 9 School Certificate.
- Proven experience working in a busy transport workshop environment.
