ACCOUNTANT
-Location: Lusaka, Zambia
-Position: Accountant
-Employment: Full-time
Ducorp Zambia Limited is an agribusiness company based in Lusaka, dealing in food commodities, feed ingredients, animal proteins, feed additives, stock feed, fertilizer, animal health consultancy and mini-type agricultural implements.
We are looking for a qualified and experienced Accountant to join our team.
Key Responsibilities
-Prepare monthly financial reports and management accounts.
-Manage accounts payable and receivable.
-Perform bank, supplier and customer reconciliations.
-Monitor cash flow and company expenditure.
-Manage inventory accounting and stock reconciliations.
-Assist with budgeting, costing and financial analysis.
-Ensure timely ZRA and other statutory compliance.
-Support internal and external audits.
-Maintain accurate accounting records and financial controls.
-Provide financial information and advice to management.
Qualifications & Experience
-Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or a related field.
-ACCA, ZICA, CIMA or equivalent professional qualification is an added advantage.
-Minimum 3 years’ relevant accounting experience.
-Experience in agribusiness, manufacturing, trading, FMCG or a similar commercial environment will be an added advantage.
-Knowledge of Zambian tax and statutory requirements.
-Strong Excel and accounting/ERP systems knowledge.
-High level of integrity, accuracy and attention to detail.
