non-ferrous metals and mineral resources in Zambia, in our quest to continue supplementing Government effort by creating more local jobs, we seek to employ suitably qualified, innovative and dynamic individuals to fill the vacant positions below:

Artisan Electrician (X4)
Job Purpose
To safely execute maintenance & installation work according to
prescribed standards. The holder of this position will be required to adhere to all relevant requirements, policies, procedures and legal
regulations pertaining to health, safety, environment and any other
regulations as required.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
To ensure that all electrical maintenance, repairs and inspections
are carried out in a safe and efficient manner according to the
applicable codes standards and safety regulations.
Ensure that stock levels of electrical equipment are maintained in
the warehouse and report all defective or substandard equipment
direct to the Electrical foreman.
To install electric equipment’s so as to provide optimum power as
required.
Maintain the correct and safe usage of all hand tools within the
section
Any other duties as directed by the supervisor

QUALIFICATION & REQUIREMENTS
Minimum of Grade 12 certificate
Craft Certificate in Power Electrical
A minimum of three years’ working experience in an underground
Mining environment as an Artisan.
Member of the Engineering Institution of Zambia (EIZ)
Knowledge of HV and LV systems
Good knowledge on the use of electrical measuring instruments.
Good at reading electrical drawings
