About Zambia Medicines Regulatory Authority
The Zambia Medicines Regulatory Authority (ZAMRA) was set up by the Medicines
and Allied Substances Act (No. 3) of 2013 as a statutory body responsible for medicine
and allied substances regulation in Zambia.
ZAMRA’s vision is to be a leader and centre of excellence in regulation of medicines
and allied substances. Its mission is to protect and enhance public and animal health
through the regulation of medicines and allied substances
1. ASSISTANT ICT OFFICER
To Undertake the development and maintenance of information systems in order
to facilitate the processing, storage and retrieval of information
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Undertake installation and upgrade Information systems and application
software as required ensuring all set ICT standards are complied with
Undertake ICT User training
Maintain an inventory of ICT hardware across of ZAMRA Offices
Undertake preventive maintenance duties on ICT hardware,
Providing first line ICT technical support on ZAMRA information systems and
users
Undertake routine preventative maintenance on ICT equipment
Maintenance and update Information on the Website
Participate in external customer support on the use of Integrated Regulatory
Information Management System (IRIMS)
QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE
Full Form V/Grade 12 School Certificate with five (5) ‘O’Levels with credit or
better, including Mathematics and English;
Bachelor of Science Degree in Information Technology /equivalent;
Knowledge of Content Management System such as WordPress or Knowledge
in web engineering
Membership to Information Communication and Association of Zambia
(ICTAZ)
Four years work experience in required
Certifications in any ICT related field is an added advantage
