JOB 2: DEPUTY SCHOOL MANAGER (1 Post)
FULL-TIME | Academic & Administrative Leadership | Discipline & Quality Assurance
SMT International School Zambia is seeking a high-performance Deputy School Manager who will strengthen academic delivery, discipline systems, and operational effectiveness.
Core Responsibilities
- Support the School Manager in running all school operations with precision and accountability.
- Lead academic monitoring: lesson implementation, classroom standards, learner progress, and assessment quality.
- Enforce direct discipline with fairness, consistency, and outcomes-focused follow-up.
- Coordinate attendance management, learner records, staff scheduling, and school compliance.
- Strengthen school reporting, documentation, and performance feedback systems.
- Promote a culture of excellence across the institution.
Minimum Qualifications & Requirements
- Five (5) O-Levels.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Teaching (or equivalent). Master’s Degree will be an added advantage.
- Registered with the Teaching Council of Zambia (TCZ).
- Computer literate (operational ICT competence required).
- Five (5) years’ experience at leadership level in schools (required).
- Familiarity with ECZ and Cambridge assessment systems.
