Designer / Structural Design Engineer
LIGHT STEEL FRAMER (LSF) DIVISION
Join one of Zambia’s fastest-growing steel and construction companies as we expand our Light Steel Frame® (LSF) Division.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Produce structural calculations and engineering drawings
Develop manufacturing-ready production drawings
Design roof trusses, wall frames and floor systems
Coordinate with architects, engineers and project teams
Ensure compliance with relevant design standards
Support manufacturing and site installation teams
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Degree in:
Structural Engineering
Civil Engineering
Architecture
Architectural Technology
Minimum 3 years relevant experience Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit
Experience with Light Steel
Frame” systems advantageous
Strong understanding of structural design principles
DESIRABLE SOFTWARE EXPERIENCE
FrameCAD
Vertex BD
Tekla Structures SAP2000
ETABS
STAAD Pro
Autodesk Revit
AutoCAD
