Minimum Qualification:
Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Zambia
Minimum Experience:
Minimum 5 years experience as a general nurse
Minimum 3 years working experience as a specialized nurse
Location: Lusaka, Zambia
Requirements/Instructions:
– Knowledge of how to accurately assess patient conditions, interpret diagnostic data, and make rapid, informed decisions using critical thinking.
– Knowledge of pharmacology, dosages, and safe administration practices especially for high-risk medications.
– Effective communication, emotional intelligence, and cultural competence are essential for building rapport with patients and collaborating with healthcare teams
– Familiarity with advanced medical technologies, such as electronic health records, set up and monitor medical equipment and devices such as cardiac monitors, mechanical ventilators and alarms, oxygen delivery devices, transducer
