Distribution Sales Representative

The Davis & Shirtliff Group is the leading supplier of Water and Energy solutions in the East, Central and Southern African region with a network of branches in Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Zambia, Rwanda, South Sudan, DRC and Zimbabwe. The company has a total complement of over 800 highly trained and professional staff spread across the region.

The company has an opening for the position of Distribution Sales Representative in our Kitwe branch. The successful candidate will report to the Distribution Manager and the role is an opportunity to gain experience in the Water & Energy segments. The successful

candidate will have the following attributes: –

Minimum Diploma in Engineering
Must have a good working knowledge of MS Office
A self-starter, energetic and go-getter who can work without close supervision
Strong organizational, interpersonal, and analytical skills with attention to detail
Able to demonstrate exceptional customer service skills
Excellent written and spoken English
A driver’s license will be an added advantage
Must be Patient, Persistent, aggressive sellers and achievers in their profession.

The expectation is that the incumbent will develop skills that enable them to;-

Improve their knowledge in market development.
Enhance their skills in product expansion
Manage monthly sales budgets and targets.
Gain exposure to wide rage of products supplied by Davis & Shirtliff.
The successful candidates will be exposed to a dedicated team working in a highly integrated sales and distribution environment and develop vital skills.
