- A) INTERNATIONAL/CAMBRIDGE (LOWER & UPPER) – TEACHING ROLES
JOB 3: EARLY CHILDHOOD TEACHERS (3 Posts Full-Time + 2 Posts Part-Time) – TOTAL: 5 Posts
FULL-TIME/PART-TIME | Early Years Education
SMT International School Zambia seeks early years professionals who can build literacy readiness, numeracy confidence, and disciplined learning habits from foundation level.
Core Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver developmentally appropriate Early Childhood teaching with strong classroom structure.
- Strengthen early literacy and numeracy readiness using learner-centered pedagogy.
- Maintain robust learner routines, safety standards, and positive discipline.
- Assess progress consistently and record learning outcomes accurately.
- Prepare and organize teaching materials to high academic standards.
- Support learners’ social development and foundational ethics.
Minimum Qualifications & Requirements
- Five (5) O-Levels.
- Diploma in Early Childhood Education (minimum). Bachelor’s Degree in ECE (added advantage).
- Registered with the Teaching Council of Zambia (TCZ).
- Computer literate.
- Familiarity with ECZ and Cambridge assessment systems.
- Teaching experience at Early Childhood level: 5 years (required).
