Job Overview
MOIC-LN Consortium Limited is seeking a qualified Electrical & Mechanical Technician to maintain the Company’s toll plaza electrical and mechanical systems, ensuring maximum equipment availability at the minimum practical cost. The role is responsible for fault finding, troubleshooting, preventive and corrective maintenance, and providing remote technical support to ensure the reliable operation of toll collection infrastructure.
Qualifications & Requirements
- – Minimum Grade 12 Certificate.
- – Diploma or Certificate in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- – Valid Unendorsed Code 08 Driver’s Licence.
- – 3–5 years of relevant experience in electrical and mechanical maintenance.
- – Proven experience in electrical fault finding, troubleshooting, and remote technical support.
- – Strong technical and analytical problem-solving skills.
- – High level of integrity, reliability, and ethical decision-making.
- – Ability to work independently and effectively within a team environment.
Key Responsibilities
- – Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical and mechanical toll plaza equipment.
- – Diagnose and resolve electrical and mechanical faults to minimise system downtime.
- – Inspect, test, and troubleshoot equipment to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- – Provide remote technical support and respond promptly to equipment breakdowns.
- – Maintain maintenance records and report recurring faults and repair activities.
- – Ensure compliance with safety procedures, operational standards, and company maintenance policies.
- – Coordinate with the Operations Manager and relevant teams during maintenance and repair works.
