Brief Organization Introduction
We are seeking applications from suitably qualified and experienced professionals for the position of Electrician.
Overall Responsibility
The Electrician will be responsible for installing, maintaining and repairing electrical equipment and systems, diagnosing electrical faults and ensuring compliance with electrical and workplace safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
Install, maintain and repair electrical equipment and systems.
Diagnose and resolve electrical faults.
Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance.
Maintain accurate maintenance and repair records.
Ensure compliance with electrical and workplace safety standards.
Respond promptly to electrical breakdowns.
Perform other duties assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications and Experience
Grade 12 School Certificate.
Craft Certificate or Diploma in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
Minimum of two years’ relevant work experience, preferably in a mining or manufacturing environment.
Sound knowledge of industrial electrical systems and safety procedures.
Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings.
Good problem-solving, communication and teamwork skills.
