ENGINEERING SERVICES LEAD
Location: Lusaka
Reporting to: Operations Manager
We are seeking an experienced engineering leader to oversee Engineering Maintenance
Project execution
This role focuses on safe, compliant, and cost-effective delivery, with strong attention to asset integrity, contractor governance, and
disciplined project execution.
WHAT YOU’LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR
• Lead and manage the engineering team
• Oversee preventative and corrective maintenance programmes
• Deliver engineering projects on time, within budget, and to required quality standards •Ensure no work is done without approved budgets, defined scopes, valid contracts, and purchase orders
• Manage contractor engagements and ensure proper approvals
• Enforce HSE compliance and safe systems of work
• Manage engineering budgets with cost efficiency and discipline
• Report on project progress, capital expenditure, and maintenance
performance
• Drive continuous improvement in engineering processes and execution discipline
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or related Engineering field
• Membership of the Engineering institution of Zambia (EIZ)
• Minimum 7 years’ relevant experience, including at least 3 years in a leadership role
Experience in project execution, contractor management, and maintenance of industrial or infrastructure assets
• Experience in oil marketing, energy, construction, or industrial environments is an advantage
• Strong understanding of contract management, cost control, and engineering governance
Proficiency in ERP systems and asset/maintenance tools
Strong leadership, planning, and stakeholder management skills
