Nkana Water Supply and Sanitation Company is a Commercial Water Utility Company providing quality Water and Sanitation services to its customers in Kitwe, Kalulushi, Lufwanyama and
Chambishi.
In its quest to address water and sanitation challenges, NWSC has received funding from the Government of the Republic of Zambia, through the Disaster Management and Mitigation Unit to improve water and sanitation services to its customers in Kwacha Constituency.
The Company therefore, seeks to employ suitable, highly motivated and goal-oriented Human Resource to fill the following positions:
Enumerator (X10)
Job Purpose
To carry out data collection in designated/assigned areas for ten (10) days only.
Job Accountabilities
• Collect data from clients through door to door administering of questionnaires and/or check list in his/her assigned geographical area.
• He/she shall ensure that information is taken and recorded correctly.
• Input the information on the MWater app on a mobile phone; and ensure that the
information is uploaded on the app.
• Check and verify water, meter and sewer network connection status on each property.
• Obtain GPS coordinates each household where survey is conducted.
Qualifications and Experience
Full Form V/Grade 12 School Certificate
Skills, Knowledge and Other Attributes
• Able to read, write and use smart phones for data recording
• Knowledge of local language – preferably Bemba
• Very good interaction skills with members of the community
• Experience and knowledge in participatory approaches
• Willing to work odd hours and over weekends to meet deadlines.
