FINANCIAL REPORTING & CONTROL ACCOUNTANT
The purpose of this role is to perform and support standard Financial reporting and control activities required each month, quarter, and year-end as well as supervise the execution of other accounting activities.
1. Delivers accurate and reliable output from specific tasks during monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting processes Prepares relevant statutory reporting.
2. Works effectively with other teams and stakeholders in other finance pillars.
3. Through their work, assists in supporting compliance with group policies on financial reporting and internal controls.
4. Delivers accurate and reliable output from specific tasks during monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting processes.
5. Maintains a working relationship with other teams and stakeholders in other finance pillars. Supports control and reporting compliance including support in preparing technical accounting memos.
6. Supports the audit process, liaising with an external auditor on appropriate workstreams.
7. Supports continual improvements in the quality and efficiency of financial reporting processes, in collaboration with the wider finance team.
8. Maintains accurate documentation to ensure compliance with established processes, policies, and controls.
5 years experience in the Accounting field, ACCA/ ZICA, or Degree in Finance. Masters’ degree will be an added advantage.
