FRENCH TEACHER

RESPONSIBILITIES
• Prepare termly schemes of work and weekly forecasts
• Prepare tests, exams and progress reports for the pupils
• Plan teaching to ensure it builds on the current and previous achievements of students and is centered on best practice.
• Take an active role in the development and organizing of the school’s extra-curriculum activities
• Develop students’ French skills as appropriate within their phase and context
Ensure lessons are engaging and challenging for all ability levels
• Liaise with parents/guardians and provide written reports on the academic progress of their child
• Manage student behavior in accordance with outlined guidelines
• Provide a safe, thriving and respectful environment for all students in the classroom and on the school campus
• Consistently apply school policies to reinforce positive behavior

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
• Full Grade 12 School Certificate
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant teaching experience in French
• Must possess a Diploma or Degree
• Candidates must be computer literate
• Candidates must be registered with the Teaching Council of Zambia
