ABOUT THE ROLE
The Head of Security is responsible for leading and managing all security operations at Sanctuary Gardens. You will ensure a safe, secure, and therapeutic environment for clients, staff and visitors 24/7.
WE ARE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WITH:
High levels of integrity
Zero tolerance for drugs and alcohol
Security trained
Good track record
Good communicator
Alert, decisive and dependable
Security, Military or Police background would be advantageous
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Lead and manage the security team 24/7
• Ensure the centre remains secure, escape-proof and free of contraband
• Implement and enforce security policies and procedures
• Prevent and respond to security incidents
• Supervise staff training and development Maintain order, safety and a therapeutic environment
• Build positive, respectful relationships with clients, staff and other departments
• Prepare reports and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations
