JOB OPPORTUNITY
We are urgently inviting applications from suitably qualified, self-motivated, and goal-oriented candidates to fill the position of;
HEADTEACHER
JOB PURPOSE
To provide overall leadership, management, and development of the school.
Key Responsibilities (not limited to):
• Implement school policies to a high standard.
• Ensure the smooth running of all school programmes.
• Maintain a visible presence on campus, ensuring that students uphold high standards of behaviour and uniform both inside and outside the classroom.
• Work closely with the School Board, Teachers, Learners, and Parents to actualise the School’s Vision.
• Provide effective leadership through planning, monitoring, coordination, and implementation at all levels to ensure continuous school growth.
Qualifications and Experience
• Full Grade 12 Certificate with five (5) ‘O’ Level credits or better.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Education (mandatory).
• Registered with the Teaching Council of Zambia (TCZ).
• Additional qualifications in Educational Leadership and Management will be an added advantage.
• Minimum of three (3) years’ experience as either a Deputy Headteacher or Headteacher in a reputable private school, with experience in the Cambridge curriculum.
Other Requirements
• Excellent communication skills (written and oral).
• High level of integrity and professionalism.
• Familiarity with the curriculum offered by the school.
• Computer literate.
• Age between 35-55 years.
• Must reside within Lusaka.
