Zambeef Products PLC is the largest integrated cold chain food products and agribusiness company in Zambia and one of the largest in the Southern Africa region.

It is involved in the primary production, processing, distribution and retailing of beef, chicken, pork, eggs, dairy, fish, flour, stockfeed and day-old chicks throughout Zambia and the surrounding region.

Zambeef now seek to employ;-
SECURITY OFFICERS – NOVATEK LUSAKA (X6)

The successful candidate will be responsible for the below:

Monitoring and authorizing entrance and departure of employees, visitors and other persons to guard against theft maintain security of premises.
Checking parcels, pockets and suspicious items.

Patrollingindustrial or commercial premises to prevent and detect signs of instruction and ensure security of doors, windows and gates.

Writing reports of daily activities and irregularities, such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons or unusual occurrences.

Counting and verifying goods being dispatched and physical inspection during the loading of the goods.

Ensuring that goods being dispatched have been properly recorded in the item release book.

Ensuring that the item release has been duly signed by senior management.

Ensuring that the goods being received at stores have recorded at the gate and that the vehicle offloading has a permit from security at the gate.

Ensuring that the goods being delivered have a valid Novatek purchase order that has been approved by senior management.

Verifying that the goods being delivered are the same as those on the purchase order.

Verifying that the delivered goods are accompanied by the required documentation i.e., delivery note, and tax invoice.

Ensuring that the physical quantity received have been checked by the user and he/she has signed on the invoice (delivery note).

Ensuring that the physical quantity received and the quantity on the delivery note and invoice are the same.

Recording the goods received from the supplier in to the security register and ensure that the supplier signs.

Checking loading of trucks with finished goods as indicated on the invoice, supported by Release Order, Loading Order and Proof of First Weight.

Ensuring that the correct feed or raw materials is being loaded by comparing the tags, where applicable, against the invoice.

Ensuring that the unit price on the invoice is shown, except in the case of free feed issue where it may be nil and duly authorized by Senior Management.

Ensuring that company propertyr property is secure from misappropriation and or reports instances of suspect misappropriation immediately to higher and appropriate authority.

Qualifications

Full Grade Twelve (12) School Certificate
Security Training Certificate
2 years work experience.
