WANTED – Inventory Control Clerk
Location – Kitwe

Duties and Responsibilities
1. Monitoring and maintaining current inventory levels; processes purchasing orders as required; tracks orders and investigates delivery delay issues.
2. Liaising and negotiating with vendors and suppliers to ensure the quality of stock purchases.
3. Forecasting supply and demand requirements to ensure stock availability.
4. Tracking Inbound and outbound orders to prevent overstocking and out-of-stock (OOS).
5. Records purchases, maintains database, performs physical count of inventory, and reconciles actual stock count to computer-generated reports.
6. Receives, unpacks, and delivers goods; re-stocks items as necessary; labels shelves.
7. Processes invoices for payment.
8. Manage stock movement from HQ to remote branches
9. Processes and documents returns as required following established procedures.
10. Performs routine clerical duties, including data entry and assisting customers.
11. Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
12. Developing or improving upon inventory management procedures.
13. Production of analytical reports

Minimum Job Requirements
Grade 12 certificate
Diploma in Accounting, Purchasing and Supply or a relevant business field of study.
A minimum of 1 year of experience in retall, warehousing, logistics or similar.
Knowledge of Pastel Partner Accounting software is an added advantage.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required
Knowledge of supplies, equipment, and/or services ordering and inventory control.
Good analytical and logistical thinking abilities.
Ability to reconcile stock counts to report data.
Exceptional understanding of inventory management practices.
Excellent time management and organizational skills.
Clerical, word processing, and/or office computing skills.
Knowledge of invoicing procedures.
