Key Account Manager (3 Positions)
Our client, a Zambian technology specialized innovation company is looking to hire the following Key Account Managers:
One Manager to focus on Public Sector segments.
One Manager to focus on Corporate and NGO segments.
One Manager to focus on Strategic Partnership and Education segments.
Responsibility:
B2B sales with corporations, governments, NGOs, and/or the education sector players.
Maintain brand awareness to ensure that client relationships are managed as effectively as possible.
Support the required sales profitability, growth and expansion in markets.
Implement business, marketing and operational strategies as per the company’s strategy.
Demonstrate products and services to existing/potential customers and assist them in selecting those best suited to their needs.
Coordinate client requirements and service offering by developing and negotiating contracts and integrating contract requirements.
Ensure existing clients are satisfied through after-sales care, by obtaining service process feedback using provided tools.
Skills, Experience, Qualifications:
Should have Degree in Organisational Psychology, Human Resources or a related field.
3-5 years of field sales experience with successful sales of intangible products and services, e.g., training & development, financial services, or telecommunications.
A background in HR and/ or experience working for a technology company is an added advantage.
Should have a history of ‘cold-call’ sales.
Public speaking and good presentation skills are required
Must be a member of the Zambia Institute of Marketing (ZIM)
Networking skills demonstrated by leadership and roles in voluntary and charitable organizations is an added advantage.
Must be an avid reader, outside of education and entertainment.
Strong literacy (comprehension), spoken language and business writing skills are required.
Must have strong active listening skills.
Must have a strong drive to achieve a positive long-term goal through their work/career are preferred.
Must have a driver’s license or be willing to obtain one within the probation period.
Must be computer literate & tech-savvy e.g., able to use MS Office and Google technology.

Should be a self-starter who will take responsibility for their own work and can work on their own as well as part of a team
Must be honesty and demonstrate integrity.
Must have emotional intelligence and be able to build meaningful relationships with other people.
Natural confidence and courage are required of candidates.
Should be able to operate effectively in both Zambia and diverse multicultural environments.
Candidates must be teachable and demonstrate that they are able to be self-driven learners under mentorship from management.
Should be able to respectfully exert influence – i.e. give clear instructions, take charge of the conversations, and lead with clarity.
Should be of good health, able to carry out moderate physical activity e.g., Field work, presentations.
Must be presentable, well groomed, and dress professionally for an institutional environment in both private and public sectors.
