Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in ICT

JOB TITLE: Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Information and Communication Technology (2 positions) Full Time position

PURPOSE: Responsible for teaching, conducting research and carrying out related academic tasks in ICT.

QUALIFICATIONS:
i. Grade 12 School Certificate with at least five credits including English and Mathematics or equivalent;
ii. An earned Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/IT or closely related field with at least a Credit from a recognised
University;
iii. An earned Master’s degree related to the Bachelor’s degree from a recognised University;
iv. An earned Doctorate degree related to the Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees will be an added advantage for the Lecturer
position;
V. An earned Doctorate degree in related field as the Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from a recognised University is a
must for the Senior Lecturer position;
vi. At least two (2) years teaching/research experience in higher education/research institute for the Lecturer position;
vii. At least five years teaching/research experience in higher education/research institute for the Senior Lecturer
position;
viii. At least ten peer-reviewed publications in recognised journals in the field of specialisation for the Senior Lecturer
position;
ix. Supervised a minimum of four (4) postgraduate students to completion for the Senior Lecturer position;
x. Teaching Methodology qualification; and
xi. Member of the ICTAZ.
