Legal Counsel

Yango is looking for a Legal Counsel to take on complex legal support. Apply if you have 5+ years of PQE in legal support of commercial online and b2b-services development.

Responsibilities:

– Take charge of complex legal support for the global expansion of our ridetech business;

– Adapt business models and provide strategic guidance for services’ launch and development, draft documents and agreements, negotiate contracts;

– Provide legal support for marketing activities and marketing materials legal analysis;

– Draft legal memos on civil, administrative, antitrust and advertising law issues;

– Communication with managers and colleagues;

– Establish and maintain a network of outside counsels, organizing and managing cooperation with them (manage pre-launch legal research, draft reviews, negotiate agreements, plan and track budgets);

– Represent the company with government authorities, courts, and arbitration institutions;

– Take ownership and responsibility of tasks;

– Partnering closely with the rest of the organization and take responsibility for the structuring and drafting of a variety of agreements and documents relating to transactions involving the business;

– Handle claims and complaints as well as litigation proceedings.

Qualifications:

– Law degree;

– Experience with legal support for commercial online services;

– Familiarity with international legislation and regulation in the online and IT business;

– Experience with international advisory;

– Adapt to a fast-paced and pressurized environment, with an ability to act decisively; self-sufficient, strong individual with excellent interpersonal skills, as well as a team player, able to provide support to others, when needed;

– Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with the ability to prioritize and multitask;

– Readiness to work independently and responsibly.
