Microloan Foundation Zambia is a microfinance institution whose mission is to help poor Zambian women entrepreneurs work their way out of poverty. It achieves this mandate by providing small
loans, trainings and savings facilitation. MLF has presence in the Eastern, Northern and Southern Provinces of Zambia.
We have Vacancies for Loan Officers and Loan Officer Trainees in Livingstone – 2. Mazabuka – 2. Kafue – 2. Sesheke/Mwandi – 4, Choma, Kabwe/ Chibombo-3, Kapiri Mponshi-3. Kasama – 3, Mpika 3, Mbala/Mpulungu – 4. Chipata -2. Katete 1. Petauke – 5. and Lundazi – 1.
The incumbent will be reporting to the Branch Head.
POSITION: LOAN OFFICER/ LOAN OFFICER TRAINEE
Minimum Requirements
• Certificate or Diploma in social work, community development, agriculture, business administration or any other related courses.
• Must have a full Grade 12 certificate including Mathematics and English.
• Must possess good communication skills.
• Must have good interpersonal skills.
• Must be able to demonstrate and or willing to work in hard-to-reach areas
• Must have a rider’s license
Core duties:
• Identification of appropriate clients
• Establishment, training and monitoring of credit groups for successful loan portfolio.

• Preparation of loan requests and disbursement of loans according to MLF procedures and policies.
• Compilation of daily end of day reports and preparation of weekly activities planner.
