Responsibilities

Drive process of cost reviews and implementation of cost initiatives to deliver on our Budget

Drive capital review meetings and reporting of capital expenditure,

Preparation of the monthly forecast and cash flow projection

Detailed monthly cost reviews with the Institute and reporting , Assist with the month end reporting financial process, including but not limited to review of key financial reconciliations Preparation of the annual budget and leading the financial process Assist with external audit process and the preparation of the annual financial statements

Qualifications

Grade 12 Certificate

Degree in Accounting or its equivalent

Professional Qualification such as ACCA / CIMA

Member of Zambia Institute of Chartered Accountants

Minimum of 5 years post graduate experience with preferably 3 years in NGOs or Government

Requirement to have at least 2 years of experience in cost management and budgeting

Proven ability to deliver results, high energy, and act as a positive change agent

Advanced Excel skills to assist in managing large data sets and managing financial models

Sound understanding and experience of the principles and practice in accounting and management

Experience will be an added advantage
