Position: Marine Technician
Reports To: Workshop Supervisor
Job Purpose
We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Technician to deliver high-quality diagnostic, repair, and maintenance services. Your goal will be to ensure customer satisfaction by getting repairs right the first time while meeting workshop targets.
Key Responsibilities
• Quality Repairs: Diagnose, service, and repair customer vehicles, motorbikes, and marine equipment accurately to eliminate repeat jobs.
• Troubleshooting & Maintenance: Identify mechanical/technical faults, recommend replacement parts, and fit components correctly.
• Defect Reporting: Prepare and submit accurate defect reports to the Workshop Supervisor in a timely manner.
• Tool & Workshop Management: Safely operate, maintain, and account for all allocated tools and equipment while keeping the workspace clean and organized.
• Customer Satisfaction: Handle repeat jobs or issues promptly to ensure high customer satisfaction and uphold company standards.
• Continuous Improvement: Actively participate in available technical training and skill development programs.
Qualifications, Skills & Knowledge
• Education: Craft Certificate in Automotive / Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field.
• Technical Expertise: Hands-on knowledge and experience in Marine Engine Repair and/or Motorbike Repair.
• License: Valid Driver’s License

o Strong diagnostic and problem-solving abilities.
o Good communication and interpersonal skills.
o High attention to detail and commitment to safety standards.
