Are you a creative, passionate, and strategic communicator who loves telling stories and building impactful brands?
Hematon is looking for a Marketing & Communications Officer to join our growing team and help us strengthen our brand, share our impact, and connect more farmers, partners, and customers to our work.
At Hematon, we believe agriculture is more than farming, it is about building profitable businesses, empowering farmers, and creating opportunities through agriculture. We are looking for someone who can help us communicate this vision to the world.
𝗞𝗲𝘆 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀:
1. Develop and implement marketing and communication strategies.
2. Create engaging content for social media platforms, newsletters, and other communication channels.
3. Capture and share farmer success stories, company activities, and project impacts.
4. Support branding, events, campaigns, and promotional activities.
5. Create marketing materials, presentations, and digital content.
6. Support stakeholder communication and brand visibility.
𝗤𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 & 𝗥𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀:
Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Media Studies, Business Administration (Marketing option), or related fields.
𝗘𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝗺𝗮𝗿𝗸𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴, 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀, 𝗱𝗶𝗴𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗺𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗮, 𝗼𝗿 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗯𝗲 𝗮𝗻 𝗮𝗱𝗱𝗲𝗱 𝗮𝗱𝘃𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗴𝗲.
The ideal candidate should have:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong storytelling and content creation abilities. Basic graphic design skills Photography and videography skills. Creativity, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently. Passion for agriculture, entrepreneurship, and community impact.Location: Lusaka, Zambia
