Tience Company Limited is involved in agribusiness activities including distribution of agrochemicals and seed production, with a commitment to supporting agricultural growth and farmer productivity across Zambia.
- MARKETING OFFICER
JOB PURPOSE
The Marketing Officer will be responsible for promoting the company’s agrochemical and seed products, increasing market penetration, building strong customer relationships, and driving sales growth across targeted markets.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and implement marketing and sales strategies for agrochemical and seed products.
- Identify and recruit agro-dealers, distributors, and potential clients.
- Conduct market research and monitor industry trends and competitor activities.
- Promote company products through field visits, demonstrations, exhibitions, and agricultural shows.
- Manage digital marketing platforms and social media pages.
- Prepare marketing reports, sales forecasts, and customer feedback reports.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with farmers, cooperatives, agro-dealers, NGOs, and institutions.
- Coordinate branding, advertising, and promotional activities. Assist management in achieving sales targets and business expansion goals.
- Provide product knowledge and customer support services.
- Monitor stock movement and market demand trends.
- Represent the company professionally during meetings and business engagements.
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
- Diploma or Degree in Marketing, Agribusiness, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum of 2 years experience in marketing, sales, or agribusiness.
- Knowledge of agrochemicals, seed products, and agricultural markets is an added advantage.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and meet targets.
- Computer literacy and social media marketing skills.
- Willingness to travel within and outside Eastern Province.
- A valid driver’s license will be an added advantage.
