Forest Park Specialized Hospital – Lusaka, Zambia
Forest Park Specialized Hospital is inviting applications from qualified and experienced Registered Nurses and Midwives to join our healthcare team.

MIDWIVES
Minimum Requirements:
• Must be a qualified and registered Midwife with the relevant regulatory authority.

• Minimum of 5 years of midwifery experience (including clinical and/or maternity ward experience).

• Must possess a valid practising licence from the relevant regulatory authority.
• Must demonstrate excellent clinical skills and patient care.
• Must have good communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills.
• Must be professional, compassionate, disciplined, and committed to maintaining high standards of healthcare.
• Must be willing to work shifts, including nights, weekends, and public holidays as required.

Key Responsibilities:
•Provide comprehensive and quality maternity and newborn care.
• Assist in normal deliveries and manage obstetric emergencies (as trained and delegated).
• Monitor maternal and fetal wellbeing.
• Educate and counsel mothers and families on reproductive health and family planning.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Maintain accurate clinical and maternity records.
• Work collaboratively with doctors, nurses and other healthcare professionals.
