United Capital Fertilizer Zambia Company Limited (“UCF”), was incorporated on 23rd August 2021 to spearhead the establishment, construction and operationalisation of an ultra-modern fertilizer plant in Zambia. UCF recently completed the construction of its first plant, known as Phase One. This plant has an initial capacity to produce and supply up to 300,000 metric tons per year of customized fertilizer products. The new plant commenced commercial production of fertilizers on 28th August 2022.
In this regard, the Company hereby invites applications from suitably qualified and experienced Zambians to fill the following positions:
• FORKLIFT OPERATORS (20)
• FRONTEND LOADER OPERATORS (10)
• QUALITY CONTROL OFFICERS (4)
• STORES OFFICERS (4)
• COAL FIRED BOILER OPERATORS (8)
• MACHINE OPERATORS (20)
• MECHANICAL FITTERS (10)
• ELECTRICIANS (5)
SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS
Operators, Fitters and Electricians
• A Certificate or Trade in a relevant field.
• Must have a minimum of Five (5) years experience in operating the above mentioned machines.
• Aged between 35 and 45 Years.
Store Officers
• Must possess a full grade 12 Certificate
• A Diploma in Purchasing and Supply from a reputable institution.
• Must have a minimum Three (3) years’ experience in similar position.
• Must be a member of the Zambia Institute of Purchasing and Supply.
Quality Control Officers
• Must possess a full grade 12 Certificate
• A Diploma in Laboratory Sciences.
• Must have a minimum Five (5) years’ experience in similar position.
