Job Description


We are currently looking for a parent Relation Officer to join our team in Lusaka to contribute to all aspects of our student and parent satisfaction strategy. The Parent Relation Officer has to implement the retention strategy and convince parents to remain at Pestalozzi Education Centre.

Your Scope of activities will include:

Designing and implementing a student retention plan

Responsible for the accuracy of the parents and students database Ed-admin

Understands the conditions for admission at Enko Botho and is conversant with the process

Knows how the school processes and policies work to support students, so can direct enquiries and feedback to the appropriate people, following up with families after the contact

Manages all communications with enrolled parents: answers the phone and incoming emails; sends out information and communication such as invitations to events, newsletters, etc., and follows up to make sure information is received

Acts as the host for parents’ meetings and events and ensures the logistical preparations suitably reflect the importance of the event

Leads the posting of student achievements on Facebook and Instagram

Makes termly Temperature Check calls as per schedule to make sure every family has a direct line of communication with the school

Requirement:

Must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Sales/Marketing or any related field

At least three years of experience in a customer-oriented industry

Must have good customer service

Expected skills:

Discrete and professional in the handling of sensitive, and often confidential, data and information – understanding that withholding information does not support the work of the school

Ability to develop a deep knowledge of the institution so that the appropriate person handles issues arising

Data-driven: Ability to analyse data and make decisions based on this analysis

Capacity to summarise and present clear reports and plans. Ability to deliver them orally clearly and with conviction

Organisation skills, ability to prioritise between tasks and to work autonomously.

Punctuality and rigour in applying guidelines and respecting deadlines

Ideally, you have already used a CRM tool (Salesforce, Pipedrive) and CSS (WordPress), Mailchimp and other digital tools

Good knowledge of Microsoft packages, especially Excel.
