- A) INTERNATIONAL/CAMBRIDGE (LOWER & UPPER) – TEACHING ROLES
JOB 4: PRIMARY SCHOOL TEACHERS (3 Posts Full-Time + 2 Posts Part-Time) – TOTAL: 5 Posts
FULL-TIME/PART-TIME | Primary Education (Cambridge / International)
SMT International School Zambia is recruiting exceptional Primary Teachers who can deliver academic excellence through structured teaching, high discipline standards, and measurable learner progress.
Core Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality primary teaching aligned to Cambridge/international expectations (as applicable).
- Prepare schemes of work, lesson plans, and classroom assessments with accuracy.
- Maintain classroom discipline that builds learner respect and learning focus.
- Track learner progress consistently and support improvement through targeted teaching.
- Use ICT for planning, documentation, and effective instructional support.
- Participate in staff development and school continuous improvement systems.
Minimum Qualifications & Requirements
- Five (5) O-Levels.
- Diploma in Primary Education (minimum). Bachelor’s Degree in Primary Education (added advantage).
- Registered with the Teaching Council of Zambia (TCZ).
- Computer literate.
- Familiarity with ECZ and Cambridge assessment systems.
- Teaching experience at Primary level: 5 years (required).
