ABOUT AMBITIOUS ZAMBIA

Ambitious Zambia is a team formed of Nordics and Zambians collaboratively solving the challenges faced within the country. Team members are working as super connectors between the continents, organizing online events, bringing people together, and enabling projects for the team and the community. The team is looking for more members to operate efficiently.

Zambia, in southern Africa, is a large, resource-rich, landlocked, country of rugged terrain and diverse wildlife, with many parks and safari areas. On its border with Zimbabwe lay famous Victoria Falls – indigenously called Mosi-oa-Tunya. Zambia is experiencing a large demographic shift and is one of the world’s youngest countries by median age. Its population, much of it urban, is estimated at about 17.9 million and growing rapidly at 2.8% per year. This trend is expected to continue as the large youth population enters reproductive age, which will put even more pressure on the demand for jobs, health care, and other social services.
