Sales Manager

Christian Vision (CV) Zambia is looking for a full-time experienced Sales Manager who is passionate about sales, client relationships, business development and the day to day managing of a dynamic sales team in Lusaka for Radio Christian Voice (RCV).

Job Overview

The Sales Manager is responsible for strategically implementing RCV’s national business goals to keep the revenue engine running through their own skill and the leadership of sales representatives using in-depth knowledge of and experience in the sales process, excelling at lead generation, relationship building, and deal closing. The role demands a leader with a sharp mind and the ability to coach, advise and motivate sales in a high-performance sales team by overseeing sales targets, revenue streams; and managing existing and sourcing new RCV clients. This role reports to the Business Development Manager.

Specific Responsibilities

To implement the business plan of generating sales, tracking revenue invoicing, and managing client expectations.
To identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status.
To seek new business clients whilst maintaining and growing the relationship of the existing client network of RCV.
To achieve growth and hit sales targets by successfully managing the sales team performance by setting individual sales goals, tracking sales and reporting results.
Developing the sales team through objectives setting, coaching, and product knowledge education.
To promote current and new RCV products and offerings.
To initiate new sales avenues and tailored campaigns packages in conjunction with the Business Development Manager.
Other duties as delegated from time to time by the Business Development Manager.
Sales Manager Requirements:

Existing and strong client relationship network with a at least 5 years of proven track record of sales experience within Zambia.
Experience in planning and implementing sales strategies.
Experience in customer relationship management.
Experience managing and directing a sales team.
Excellent command of the English language, both spoken and written.
Dedication to providing great customer service.
