COMPETITION AND CONSUMER PROTECTION COMMISSION
EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY
The Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (“the Commission”) is a
Statutory Body under Ministry of Commerce Trade and Industry, with a total
establishment of one hundred employees. The Commission was established under the
Competition and Consumer Protection Act No 24 of 2010 of the Laws of Zambia. The
objectives of the Commission are to safeguard and promote competition and to protect consumers against unfair trade practices.
The Commission invites suitably qualified and highly motivated candidates to apply for the following post:
STORES ASSISTANT (1 POSITION)
KEY SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES
• Effectively undertakes the storage of stock in order to ensure safe keeping.
• Effectively undertakes the issuance of stock in order to make it available to
end users.
• Undertakes effectively periodic stock taking of inventory in order to ensure
accountability.
REQUIRED SKILLS
• Initiative and judgement;
Integrity;
• Confidentiality & honesty;
• Excellent computer skills (MS Word, Excel, Power Point etc.)
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
• Full Grade 12 certificate
• Certificate in Stores Management or equivalent
• Must have a minimum of 2 years work experience
