STORES KEEPER

Baluba Game Resort is seeking a dedicated, organized and detail-oriented Stores Keeper to oversee inventory management, stock control, receiving, storage and issuing of goods while maintaining accurate inventory records and supporting efficient resort operations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
– Receive, inspect and verify goods against purchase orders and delivery notes.

– Ensure proper storage of goods and maintain store cleanliness and organization.

–  Issue stock only against approved requisitions and record accurately.

– Update inventory records and bin cards/store ledger promptly.
– Maintain minimum and maximum stock levels and monitor stock movement.
– Conduct daily, weekly and monthly stock counts and reconcile variances.
– Maintain proper documentation and filing of all store transactions.
– Ensure compliance with health, safety, security and loss prevention procedures.

– Prepare monthly store reports and assist à inventory valuation.

REQUIREMENTS
Diploma or Degree in Purchasing & Supply, Stores Management, Logistics or related field. Minimum 2 years’ relevant experience in a similar role (preferably in hospitality).
Good knowledge of inventory control procedures and store operations.
Proficient in MS Excel and inventory systems.
Strong organizational and record-keeping skills.
High level of integrity, accuracy and attention to detail.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
