Welder or Boiler maker should able to use manual and semi-automatic welding equipment to perform cutting & joining operation of ferrous or non-ferrous, following the standard welding process specifications.
Welder or Boiler maker shall be specialized in repair or manufacturing welding, pipeline construction welding, hard facing & build-up.
Responsible for carrying out different types of welding repairs and fabrication works as per assigned schedules and instructions from his superiors.
Work as a member of a group in carrying out different types of mechanical maintenance activities such as overhauling or repairing of machines, cleaning and maintaining de-dusting units, vulcanizing belt conveyors, etc.
Ensure quality of jobs done (adherence to timelines, minimal rework of jobs, minimal user complaints)
Ensure proper adherence to equipment (machine handing over procedures – remove and make sure that all maintenance tools or material and personnel are cleared from the working site and the equipment is safe to resume operation before handing over to production or user department.

Safe guards the welding & cutting tools with responsibility.
Adhere to policies, processes, systems relating to maintenance function
Requirements
10 Plus 2 school and Artisan certificate in Welding level II
2 years of hands on experience in small to medium scale industry/ workshop.
